RA Laird provides a complete agricultural contracting service, helping farms and estates prepare and manage land with precision. Our team carries out ploughing, cultivation, grassland care, power harrowing, subsoiling, lime spreading and slurry tanking. We also handle all aspects of planting and establishment, including drilling, precision planting, air seeding, direct drilling and overseeding to ensure healthy, productive crops.
Crop Care & Forage
We support farmers throughout the growing season with expert crop care. Services include spraying with herbicides, fungicides and fertilisers, as well as fertiliser spreading, hedge cutting, rolling and irrigation where required. At harvest time, we provide mowing, foraging, combining for cereals, oilseeds and beans, and baling of hay, straw and silage. Grain can also be processed with crimping and bruising to maximise yield and storage.
Waste Handling & Field Services
Efficient waste handling is vital for maintaining soil health and productivity. We offer muck spreading, muck heap removal, slurry injection and compost or digestate spreading to return nutrients to the land. These services are backed by reliable machinery and skilled operators, ensuring work is completed on time and with minimal disruption to farm operations.
Farm & Estate Maintenance
