Reliable Supply of Primary Aggregates
RA Laird delivers a wide range of primary aggregates for construction, road building and landscaping projects. We supply crushed stone and rock (granite, limestone or basalt) for road base and concrete, as well as gravel in 10 mm, 20 mm and 40 mm grades for drainage and landscaping. Our sand range includes sharp sand for screeding and concreting, building sand for mortar, and soft washed play sand.
Recycled & Specialty Materials
To support both sustainability and cost-effective projects, we stock recycled aggregates such as recycled crushed concrete (RCA), crushed brick and hardcore, and Type 1 MOT recycled sub-base. We also supply specialty products including ballast (a gravel and sand mix for concrete) and asphalt planings, which provide an economical surface layer for roads and tracks.
Decorative & Fill Aggregates
For landscaping and surface finishes, we provide decorative aggregates including pea gravel, slate chippings, marble chips, cobbles and boulders. We also supply a full range of fill and sub-base materials: Type 1 MOT for roads and paths, Type 2 and Type 3 for lighter drainage applications, scalpings as a lower-cost option, and shingle for bedding and drainage.
